Descripción de la oferta: AgroFresh is looking for a Laboratory Scientist R&D to join the R&D Innovation Center. This
position, reporting to the Innovation Center Lab Manager, is ideally suited to experienced individuals
who are thrilled to conduct in vitro and in vivo screening trials to develop novel solutions (fungicides,
biologicals, growth regulators etc.) that help reduce food waste and enhance the freshness and
quality of specialty crops.
The ideal candidate for this role has high but managed positivity energy, creativity, focus and is a
lifelong learner.

Primary Focus/Job Responsibilities
 Organize and conduct autonomously, in vitro and in vivo screening trials to test the efficacy of
newly discovered solutions for extending storage and shelf life of fresh produce.
 Maintain and implement existing laboratories spaces, instruments, procedures including GEP
certification
 Editing study reports in English and presenting results to the global team within the given
deadlines.
 Identify new opportunities or applications for the AgroFresh Product line or any new food preservation quality and freshness-extension systems that may be under evaluation and provide input
on formulating and evaluating them for efficacy and developing into end use products.
