Descripción de la oferta: The Supply Chain planner drives the end to end development and execution of the Checkpoint global supply chain plan in the line of business. Improves customer service performance by optimizing the level of inventory of one or several Checkpoint lines of business at the lower cost possible.
The main roles and objectives to be developed are:
Manage the line of business assigned, collaborating with our internal and external suppliers balancing service level and inventory targets, whilst understanding costs impacts on manufacturing.
Analyse and maintain the MRP parameters to pilot the overall supply (safety stock, target inventory levels, item parameter review).
Control the inventory projection and take the appropriate decisions in terms of cutting or postponing of purchase orders.
Monitoring the supplier progressing review process to ensure the suppliers are respecting the delivery plants (establishment of improvements plans with suppliers, priority, quality incident follow up, goods in transit control).
Collaboration with Product & Project Management teams during product life cycle processes, marketing campaigns, new product families introduction.
Forecast load, demand deviation monitoring, communication with Demand planner, Customer Service and BU Directors.
Producing and documenting the planning deliverables including programmes, planning philosophy, presentations, and reports.
Lead Checkpoint business process changes to drive best practices.
Education & Experience:
University Education (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Economics...)
Logistic Certifications are a plus (CPIM, CSCP...)
At least 3 years of experience in a planning role
Expertise in SAP R/3 (MM - SD)
Knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office and Data Base Management
Fluent in English and Spanish
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Flexibility and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize issues and projects.
Team player and ability to work with other departments.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
Customer focus and results oriented
Excellent communicator (oral, written and verbal).
Be self-motivated, confident with the ability to work alone and as a team.
