In this case please keep reading as we are looking for a talented person to join our Google Cloud team in Barcelona as a Google Cloud Support Engineer for the Infrastructure and Networking team.

Companies all around the world rely on Google Cloud! Here your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding technical support for the most prestigious Google Cloud clients.

As part of our team you will be responsible of providing high level technical support to Networking products (such as load balancing, firewall rules, routes, VPN's..) and Infrastructure products (such as Logging and monitoring tools, different OS, scripts, Kubernetes, server configuration..) among other technologies which will boost your IT career into the next level.

Take a look into what are we looking for:

100% fluent in English
European citizenship or work permit in Spain
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software/computer engineering, higher degree in System Administration and Networking or applicable work experience
Previous experience as a Linux system administrator
Familiar with web protocols (HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc)
Understanding of networking standards
Ability to read and understand logs and stack traces.
Ability to research using internal knowledge bases and public facing documentation (official Google docs, StackOverflow, Google Groups...)

Desirable skills:
Background in SQL (plus)
Containerization knowledge (LXC, Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
Familiarity with modern API technologies (OAuth, RESTful APIs, gRPC)

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Permanent contract
Full time position (39 hours / week)
Salary package: 30.040€ gross/year (25.000 as base salary + 3.000 as bonus + 1.540 ticket restaurant + private health insurance valued approximately 500€)
Salary review after one year

No dress code! You will be working in a casual environment from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. In the future you might work some weeks from 8am to 5 pm or 10 am to 7 pm (according to business needs).

You will also be working one weekend every two months being extra paid in case that you do so. The weekend working shift could either be from 9am to 6 pm or from 6am to 3pm.
